Merbau Sawn Timber

Merbau is used for making window frames, Door frames, Window shutters . The most prominent feature is it’s colour and good strength. Sizes are 3 – 5 inch Thickness . 4 – 12 inch wider . Length 7 – 10 Feet

D U C Red Merandi

D UC Red Merandi mainly for building Constuction purposes . Its used for making window frames , Door frames etc . The most prominent feature is it’s colour and good strength. Sizes are mainly 3 x 6 and 3 x 12 – Length 8 – 14 Feet

TULANG

This timber orangish-brown color species is also known as Koompassia excelsa and usually the tree size is 100-130 ft (30-40 m) tall, 3-5 ft (1-1.5 m) trunk diameter. Commonly used for all heavy construction works like posts, beams, joists, columns (heavy duty), piling, railway sleepers and power transmission poles. Also Tulang is suitable for flooring (heavy traffic), heavy duty furniture, office and shop fittings, mouldings, roofing, fender supports, tool handles (impact) and plywood.

KEMPAS SAWN TIMBER

Also known as Koompassia malaccensis and the tree size 100-130 ft (30-40 m) tall, 3-5 ft (1-1.5 m) trunk diameter. The overall appearance is just like Mahogany which tends to have orangish-brown. This species of timber is not a common timber among woodworkers and tends to be imported primarily for flooring.

KASAI SAWN TIMBER

Kasai timber has a glossy surface and consists of different colors like heartwood light to dark red, medium dark red-brown and sometimes purplish. This is normally used for general-purpose timber – interior construction as well as a domestic flooring, moulding, joinery, tools, trimming, ship & boat, boards.
